man is he your brother or something?, i think i could come close to his forty, and it really dosn't matter if he is fast than us, we couldn't play in the sec, so that really isnt saying anything

I love this argument. If a player could outrun and beat up a bunch of internet nerds, he should be starting? In that case, everyone on the team should be starting and I think that's against the rules.

so cutrera makes a habit out of challenging people to races and then beating them down?

I feel bad for this kid. I know him a little, so I'm biased.
He is unable to stay healthy. Some of his injuries have been freak. He dislocated his elbow on the last play of the spring game 2 years ago when Big Herm rolled on it. His shoulder was mangled (like most all LB's) last year.
While I was happy to see him get a shot this year, his missing this much of camp will not help him. What's hard to understand is the hate shown to him. It all got started when some dumbass Acadiana grads pimped him as the next great thing. Jacob has always been humble, and LSU all the way.
He has contributed just as much or more than people like Jai Eugene, R J Jackson, Richard Murphy, Steven Ridley, etc. He just gets the arse end of a lot more venom.
I asked him about it once. He said it's hard for him to understand. He's never caused any trouble, and his teammates love him. He did say, however, he NEVER hears anything face to face. He loves being a Tiger, and will have that NC ring forever. I hope he has a good year.

The kid has been knicked almost his whole career and has played behind some pretty good mlb's...hopefully he can have one injury free season so he can max his potential. One thing is for certain..Cutrera will give 100% and that is really all any rational LSU fan can expect. Geaux Jacob.

Very well said and mostly my sentiments also.
I've been critical of his play in past seasons, but always optimistic his time would come.
I find that the problem lies in inability to force the action. It seems to me that his tackles are always in pursuit. This could be more of a scheme issue, and I was hoping to sort that out this season, but it's not looking good for him at this point.
I have a hard time getting the two missed tackles on the same ball carrier during the same play, and JPW faking him out in the open field, out of my mind.
If healthy, he has earned the right to be given every chance to start and contribute.

If you had any level of reading comprehension, you would see that I said nothing negative about a player. I in fact like Cutrera, and think we need him. My negativity was aimed at your ridiculous logic.
