Only when Joe Brady brought his offense in 2019 did those guys flourish.
I respect E for his long service and he seems like a really good guy and can provide value, but he wasn't a great OC. Sorry, he just wasn't.

If 2019 wasn’t all Brady, why did O ask Brady who he should hire to get the “Brady system”? Then we hired 2 Brady staffers (one of which who was with us working under Brady for the 2019 natty)? Love coach E buy 2019 was Burrow in Bradys system. You could tell how different it was from just the year prior, with virtually the same players!

Did you look to see how well Peetz was coaching up Teddy last year? If he was so great, wouldn’t Brady try to keep him?
Hardly any spring practice during COVID. What do you mean virtually the same players? We lost almost all our key players. We were a new team of freshmen and new coaches.

Naw! Nothing but love for all the talented QBs and bringing back Mangas and Munoz all positive. Not bashing “Burrow” at all! One of the greatest ever! Love Coach E and Brady but think Coach E didn’t take the credit that he deserved. Peetz is the only one I question. Why didn’t Brady want to keep him if he was so awesome?

Coach E was a good offensive coach. he was a competent (maybe even above average) game planner/manager. He, however was NOT good in the red zone or on 3rd down. He played it too safe.
I like that he is still involved as an analyst. I am sure that his experience and insight will be valuable. I am also glad, though that he is no longer the offensive coordinator.

B.S. We are ALL "analysts" on Sat. We coach after every play. We just don't get paid for it. Here's 1 for the record books: Name the BEST 1 play call ENSMINGER ever had as an offensive coordinator?
