Hate to say it as much as I despise Brian Kelly now but coach o left it in worse shape. Sorry

Year 1 of the BK era was probably the best coaching job of his career.
Taking what he inherited and rebuilding a roster that won the SECw was nothing short of miraculous

Losing to K-state 42-20 with a WR playing QB isn’t even close to losing to a ranked Houston Team by 3 points

Literally all he did was go out and get a QB. That’s all he needed to bring LSU to Atlanta. Lane has far more work cut out for him than BK did when he first got here. O got the hell out of there before things got too bad. BK never fixed things and the state of the program only got worse.
