suck it up, make a copy DVD whatever, don't listen to radio or tv and cut people off quickly if they try to tell you anything.

Escape when you can reasonably be excused an watch the game

I married a Virginia girl and her family does not understand the passion LSU fans have for their football! Even though I let my feelings be known about not planning it for a game day Saturday, my mother in law did! Though there was an open date the Saturday before I found later she did it on purpose and lets just say our relationship has never been the same and that was in 2006!

I'm in the same boat. Maybe it's the same wedding.

I got mad about weddings being on LSU game days until I was like 23. It's one game, it'll be ok. Be there for your family and/or close friends.

I told my wife no wedding during FB season. Even if it's an off week eventually our anniversary would fall of the biggest game of the season.

You have no responsibilities. Your wife will be taking care of the groomsmen. You got a free day

My wife’s best friend got married on the same night as the MooSt. game last season and my wife was in the wedding, so skipping wasn’t an option.

After getting updates up to half I pounded three drinks and enjoyed the reception like a boss.

We’d all rather be at the game, but you gotta adult and do the right thing. Go and get updates on your phone.

Ha ! Each of the three ex’s understood, to check the schedules during the season before scheduling me for any event / appearance. Of course, each had to test the policy .... once. ?? No, the operative word is not ex ! Still the best of friends with all FWIW.

Some women do this purposely in order to find out whom their true friends are. I've heard it directly from three different women. It's ridiculous, but some of them believe it.

My gf would not want to miss a home SEC Baseball series. But we sucked absolute balls that season(06?). You didn't miss much.
