I like this ranking, but move Arnsparger to third or fourth, and move Orgeron ahead of Charlie Mac.

They play as many as 15 games now. It used to be a maximum of 12. Even a poor season results in an extra game these days.
Very true and that extra game is often another rent a win. One of the reasons I say the "fast start" metric is not very meaningful. But I think stringing together 10 or 11 game seasons is still laudable. If you look at 2 non-wins(loss or tie) or less seasons, that may be a better metric (in conjunction with other metrics of course). Miles did it 5 times. 3 in a row and 2 in a row.
Miles 5 in 11.3ish seasons
Saban 1 in 5 seasons
Dinardo 1 in 4 seasons
Archer 1 in 4 seasons
Cholly Mac 2 in 18 Seasons
Dietzel 3 in 7 seasons
Bernie Moore 5 in 13 seasons (3 in a row and 2 in a row)
Pre Moore they played 9 games or less, I didn't go back past that.
From Moore through Dietzel and part of Mac's tour teams played 11 if they made a bowl game, from 1970-2000 they played 12, 2001-now 12 if they make a bowl game.
A couple of caveats:
1) if you win the division you play an extra game in the SEC Championship since 1998. This has factored in LSU's game total on a few occasions.
2) CFP Adds one more game If you get that far as well, this has not impacted LSU's game total yet.
