Auburns O-line wasn't solid...they had like 3 freshman starting at one point because they were falling apart

Beanie Wells > Tate/Lester

Boeckman > Cox...and this is laughable, Cox was god awful last year

WR is a wash

In pretty much every facet on offense OSU was better...Auburns offense was abysmal last year. They averaged something ridiculous like 4.75 yds/play

This is exactly correct, IMO.

Florida definitely gave us the most problems. But, defensively they were not very good at all. Overall, OSU was a better team IMO.

dude boeckman sucked in a shitty conference last year

he would have gotten eaten alive in the SEC and against a team like USF

wells is better. i give you that

but OSU's OL wasn't great, esp if they had to face speed rushers.

OSU would have been a 4-5 loss team in the SEC, just like AU

Dude he was 13th in PER last year while Cox was 89th. Even if he played in the SEC his PER wouldn't have dropped that far. It would be around 50.

No, if you gave them AU's schedule last year they would've been a 3 loss team like Florida. Losses to UGA, LSU and Florida.

UTenn? OSU could win, but coming off the LSU assbeating they'd likely be so worn they'd lose

don't forget bama

saban's pressure packages would make boeckman shite himself

arkansas would have a shot with their misdirection run game and speed at RB

They didn't play Tennessee last year

Brandon Cox was the king of shitting his pants last year and he made it through. Saban didn't have the athletes last year to really deploy the packages he's known for.

I'll agree with that, Jones and McFadden would have given them fits, but at the same time OSU could have pulled an upset on UF or UGA last year like Auburn did at Florida.

my b i looked at the 2008 schedule where they did play UTenn

quote:

he had the athletes. they were just young

and it would be a D that OSU never sees

hell did you see how UM's similarly-schemed, much slower D held OSU in check last year?

it's just like MSU...MSU-OSU would be a low scoring game and if MSU got the breaks late, they could win

there is also USF

-fast D? check
-pressure D? check
-spread-option offense? check

they could have easily beaten OSU

Yeah the Auburn or Bama game wasn't close at all.

No he didn't. Hell half of them quit on him during the second half of the year.

I'm with you on UF. I dreaded having to face them in the SEC Title game if it would have come to that.

UTenn though, gotta disagree. I believe Auburn, Bama, OSU were all better. I'm still not sure how they ended up coming out of the east. Got blown out three times and were extremely lucky to win three more.

Like David Green shite himself when he hit a wide open Tyson Browning for 93 yard TD in the 1st Georgia game?

#1 Ranked OSU. First #1 team LSU has beaten since 1997.

So you're saying the should have beat us too right?

Also, we lost two games we shouldn't have, and and so did every other FBS team. That is why we fell into the BCSNG.

Therefore I feel your "lost some games they shouldn't have" is irrelevant, and only L's and W's are relevant.

It was a screen pass, it wasn't like he hit him in stride 45 yds down the field. & that was the only td allowed by LSU that day. boy your hatred for Saban is unbeleivable. Did you throw away all your NC stuff from that year?
