No the screwings they put in LSU fans for years.

If play only play in BR like a rent a win

We lose a home game first off. We don't need to play a game in Nola just to build a "recruiting base" there...it's only 45 minutes away.

Why in the world would we go to the dome and schedule a cupcake? Does absolutely nothing for us.

No. The playoffs are here for a nc AND Tulane WILL NEVER HELP US GET INTO THE TOP 4.

It depends on what we're comparing it to. I would prefer to play Tulane every year instead of the I-AA teams and other rent-a-wins. At least there is some history there. I realize, though, that the money doesn't work out well. Tulane obviously doesn't want to play in BR every year and we want/need the cash.

I would much prefer to play Tulane than some of the OOC teams who pop up on our schedule each year.

"This game should still be played annually, though I agree that 3/4 games should be in Tiger Stadium."

This makes so much sense that it will never happen.

Pass. I would rather play ULL first.

But even before ULL, would like to see matchups against SMU, Rice, UTEP, New Mexico State, New Mexico or Southern Miss, back when they were relavent before playing an in state school.

Part of me wants to say no, but putting up those big numbers on an old rival that we hate is always nice, even though they have a trainwreck football program.

Also, for selfish reasons only, I really do like going to see the Tigers in the Superdome.

What would be the arrangement- 3 for 1? 4 for 1?

The last 2-3 times the weenies played in TS, they did not sell out their allotment of tickets. Look at the crowd( sarcasm) for the last game in the Dome. Their fans have proved by their feet that they have no real interest in playing LSU in either venue & a game there no longer holds mass appeal for Tiger fans, either. As for the hate, I assume there are a lot of younger Tiger fans here who have no idea what flaming arseholes weenie fans were back then. At their worst, which they were most all the time, they make bama & aggie ranters look like kittens. The hate was palpable. Screw them. We carried them financially for yrs & they can now float or sink on their own. The Winn Dixie baseball tourney was called off by Skip when the weenies kept demanding more & more of the gate despite drawing less than a fourth of the total attendance. UNO had as big or bigger crowds for non LSU games.

Yes. Annually. Up vote. A much more intriguing matchup than Sam Houston State and New Mexico State.

Also, four times a year in baseball and twice a year in everything else.

Put them in a rotation with Tech, ULL, and ULM. They can come to Tiger Stadium every 4 years.

Ultimately isn't that what it's supposed to be about, the fans' entertainment?

It was an entertaining series for me, I'd love to go uptown and watch LSU stomp Tulane's arse like old times.

It'd be better than playing in the dome, or some sterile neutral site.

Tulane's new Yulman Stadium will have a capacity to seat 30,000. I say we play them home-and-home for the next 4 years - but only if LSU is allotted 29,999 seats for each game at Tulane.

No reason to have FBS opponents if we could play the greenies once a year. I'd be ok with 4 to 1 tiger stadim superdome split. NOT their little stadium.
