All these people said no way O would promote Steve . Now that it's happened Steve was the right man all along in their eyes.

If we won those three, those other 4 would have been a lot closer. Amazing how 1 minute on the clock can change the course of several games to follow. It's a combination of plays called, lack of talented depth in the trenches in the same year, and a mental hump we've had since 1/9. Before 1/9, everybody believed that we could beat them anytime anywhere because we did.

Time to get that sht back. Play loose, treat them like any other team you want to kill, but play with the intensity. I believe some of our players were intimidated by the moment and played scared to lose.

So you judging him taking over from Cam? How about the records broken under Steve. Only harping on the one game we have not won in years.

Okay, so we can’t blame him for being shut out because it was Cam’s offense?

Okay, we can’t give him any credit for “records” then, because he was just calling plays from Cam’s offense.

If not, why not?

It’s like taking candy from a baby with you O-pumpers.

it appears that Georgia couldn't either.

saban is amazing. Georgia had them beat and he switches to a freshman qb and begins to air it out. that kid has got great vision of the field and throws fastball strikes. he throws to where the receiver is supposed to be.

but I noticed that bama came out of the locker room with a renewed motivation and seemed to have more energy. I almost wonder if they don't drug those guys at the half. anyway, when the fourth quarter arrived both their defense, offense and special teams elevated their game.

A list of records and other significant accomplishments from Ensminger as our interim OC:

• Total offense in an SEC game: 634 vs. Missouri
• Time of Possession: 42:33 vs. Missouri
• Longest run from scrimmage: 96 yards by Derrius Guice vs. Arkansas
• Rushing yards in game (set twice): – 284 by Leonard Fournette vs. Ole Miss; 285 by Guice vs. Texas A&M
• 418 rushing yards vs. Missouri (most by an LSU team since 1976)
• 300-yard passer (Danny Etling) and 200-yard rusher (Guice) vs. Texas A&M – a first in LSU history
• 622 yards of total offense vs. Texas A&M – second most by LSU team in a true road game

this. LSU has been sitting on any 4th quarter lead we've had. you just can't do that. there is definitely a tendency to run down the clock and there is much merit in that but if you can't make the first down on the ground (and with bama's D you are not) you just have to throw it also. giving bama's offense chance after chance in the fourth just doesn't work.

You will see LSU finish Bama in the upcoming Women's Gymnastics match. LSU is currently ranked #1 !

So stop worrying, son, because Order is about to be Restored.

We are all about Women's Gymnastics now!

Those are soft big 12 tradition defenses that give up those numbers every week

LSU has developed a tradition of juniors leaving for the NFL while at the same time not bringing in enough talent/developing the talent that is on the roster. We have essentially become the football version of Kentucky. We are merely a quick and almost sure ticket to the professional ranks.

It's an amateur football team that plays for no pay and for a school. The kids have everything to gain by getting a high paying job ASAP in the NFL. They don't have the same "school spirit" that a fan would have.

Recruit a qb that can manage the game and smart insticts maybe. I think that would do the trick to beat bama but have not had a coach that can outsmart Nick saban in quite some time. Game.management and put your best player on their worst. On a side note how can Lau recruit these two guys? Can anyone get the msg out to coach O and ensminger to offer scholarships to  Taulia Tagovailoa - qb ; and paul tyson a 6ft 4 210lbs
qb. I think both may be bama leans but doesn't hurt to try

Alabama has the best coach in college football history and Alabama has better talent and depth at every position.

What’s so funny about that? 3 of the games should of been won by LSU.
Most were late game collapses.

Depth in every position
Overall better talent

Both statements simply explain the dominance by Bama not just with LSU but with the whole country.

Every year they lose a starter to the NFL or graduation and because they recruit at the highest level every year they have no holes on the team and reload the position with a player just as good or better. Not only players moving on but also injuries, when a Bama player is injured then a player just as talented enters the game.

Late game collapses may simply be the better team prevailed and wore the lesser team down.

It does not help that LSU has lacked a QB that can carry the team late in the game and just take over.

Because when their left tackle gets hurt, they can replace him with a Freshmen former 5* high school all-american from Tennessee.

Because when their 25-2 sophomore QB plays bad they can replace him with a freshmen from Hawaii that was the highest rated HS QB in the country.

Because when their senior and Junior running backs are ineffective, they can replace them with a freshmen former 5* high school all-American RB from California.

Because when they need a deep threat with speed to win a national championship in overtime on a blown cover 2 assignment by one of the best defenses in the country, they can insert a freshmen former 5* high school all-American WR from Louisiana to catch the pass from their freshmen QB.

I haven't even mentioned the defense.

Basically because they have 2-3 deep at every position that are better than 90% of the rest of the players in the country. TALENT and DEPTH.

Throw in Saban's coaching style that is more physical and attacking because he can run waves of high school all-Americans at you, and there's your answer.

When is the last time that LSU had a lead against Bama at any point in the game?

Sure hope that we can play Missouri and Texas A&M for all 12 games next year. If Ensminger deserves credit for these "RECORDS" set by Guice/Fournette, then he deserves full blame for the pathetic showing against Bama and UF. Cameron also set the same exact record against South Carolina in the previous season. If LSU can run right up the middle successfully then they were fine. The problem is when the dive was not successful, it was an automatic loss. I hope that you are not stupid enough to believe that the dive will ever beat Nick Saban.
