I wonder if the new WR coach might have helped his draft though...in terms of teaching.

This year was a really strong WR class, has the WR from Rutgers been drafted yet? I don't see RR getting past Denver #57/Houston #58.

Laughing at all of you who think the NFL gives two shits who is throwing the ball to WR prospects in college.

Michael Floyd had a couple of braindead retards throwing him the ball this season and he still went in the 1st.

NFL cares about measureables, route running, down field blocking, and hands.

with TT last year and RR this year, it's obvious the NFL doesn't like our WR coaching

eh toliver i think had some physical concerns and never lived up to the high school hype. we had 2 first round picks in 2007 with davis and bowe, 3rd round in 2008 with doucet, and 3rd round with lafell in 2009. then byrd was drafted even though he had a horrible car wreck a few days before the draft.

we have too many fans that totally overvalue our players. same people who say RR should have stayed are probably some of the same that think RS is destined to have a breakout season next year
I don't disagree with anything you're saying, but regarding LSU FANS seeming to overvalue our players (I agree), clearly they weren't alone. LSU fans didn't create the list for the green room, and he's in it. That's because SOMEBODY thought he could go 1st round...besides LSU fans.

No I don't think RS will have a break out year this year, I just hope he does because, but if you look at the last 3 years I am not expecting much. I just feel RR would have benefited to stay, he would have had more exposure and probably had more pre-season hype maybe even pre-season all american hype. And with Mett at the helms more long balls thrown his way.

And maturity and work ethic. Otherwise Bryce Brown, Janzen Jackson, and Janoris Jenkins would have already been drafted.

well, to be fair, they invited 26 players this year and usually only invite 10-12. it's still mid 2nd round, and a lot of the players that have been drafted were complete shockers to everyone. still think lsu fans are a little unreasonable. i think a lot probably felt randle was the best wr prospect after blackmon

What are these NFL teams thinking? Have they not seen the RR emotional moments thread on the Fark Board?
