If it is true that this has little to no chance of happening, that means that they would see Walker Howard and/or Nuss as being better than Arch.
If you haven't been paying attention to the Manning's, Arch will go to the school that he has the best chance of succeeding, which is why Peyton went to TN. If they feel that's LSU, then he will come here.

Reason goes back to old man Archie who lost to LSU when he was Ole Miss QB .
Only reason why he came to La. was because he was Saints QB
Personally I wish he had been drafted by another NFL club cause he never did anything for NOLA like other NOLA QBs

On the SEC Storied episode, taped several years ago, at the end they showed Archie playing around with grandchildren in the yard and he asks each whom they root for. One of them, probably Arch, says LSU and Archie under his breath mutters “now you’re just trying to hurt my feelings”. It was really funny.

Archie beat LSU his sophomore and junior years. LSU did beat Ole Miss Archie’s senior year when he came back after a broken arm. He played the game in a cast.
