Who was the Duke BB player that graduated and then played qb at Syracuse for a year?
Mike Paulus

He outperformed JJ by a long shot in the spring game
Epic fail.
I love all the revisionist historians on this board.

Lee definitly earned the right to start after the Tennessee game. But Miles was not going to have any of it. He had a 128 passer rating and won the game for us. Then against Florida he had a 236 passer rating and 2 TDs which is half of JJ's entire seasonal production. YET STILL didnt start versus McNeese State.
What did JJ do in the mean time? Against UT he had a 15 passer rating with 2 INTS and 1 INT versus Florida all setting up scores for our opponent.
If you think Lee was given a fair chance to take the starting spot from JJ you are living in a fantasy world.

Uhh I wouldnt say by a long shot but he was defintily better in the SG.
Was this revisionist?

Going into the SG JJ was doing much worse than Lee
After the SG he was still doing worse.. JJ was 1 for 10 at one point in the SG thats a FACT not revisionist. He finished 8-for-23 for 94 yards and an interception.
Lee was 10 for 20 for 114 and had the only TD pass of the game.. He had the pick six and thats all people remember.

Alright - The true freshman QB from Georgia is better than our junior QBs.
This is true!

Greg Paulus played bball at Duke then went to the 'Cuse and played football for a year. I'm pretty sure he was football POY his senior year of HS.

I nver said he was the qb coach. Who is in charge of hiring the right coaches to develop your palyers. This is why he needs to leave. You people amaze me how you take part of what some one is saying and make it wht you want to say.

Yep. He's still thought of as this pick 6 machine, yet he hasn't thrown one in a real game since 2008. The one he threw in the spring game went right through a receiver's hands. Loston made a great play just to hang onto the ball because he was going for the big hit on the receiver. It wasn't a perfect throw, but it should have been caught. It certainly was a much easier throw to catch than the one JJ apologists say Randle should have caught v. Auburn where he went up as high as he could and still barely put his fingers on it.

He just needs to steal something like Masoli to be in the same situation.

You clearly stated Lee is somehow less intelligent since attending college at LSU due to Miles and in same post stated a "real coach" could develop some yet to be displayed talent Lee has. I suppose Miles was responsible for the stupidity and regression of NC winner and NFL QB Matt Flynn? Please elaborate.
It's difficult to coach pocket presence, break the back foot throw habit and overide Lee's obvious talent of empty pocket dancing. Some things are just mental.
