Not a problem. I'm a basketball enthusiast and can't wait for the season; so I jump at the chance to listen to Wade any chance I get.

Some people are just that miserable.

Honestly though, b/c it is just 1, I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt that it was an accident and they didn't know how to fix it. Haha

Penn-Johnson has injury that has slowed him. I believe it is his knee. Wade said he should be ready for the 1st game.

Hasn’t been said yet. The 25th is the first day of the CBB season; so it’ll either be that day or the 26th/27th, which is Thanksgiving and day after. Guess we won’t know till schedule finally comes out.

The last 2 seasons LSU has played at a pretty fast tempo, so I'm not quite sure how much faster they can go.

I didn’t really mean a faster offensive pace. I just meant guys knowing they can play with intensity and hustle at all times knowing they’ll get subbed out soon, so bust your arse while you’re on the floor.

Thanks for the update.
God willing, we play a full and competitive season with a tournament to finish.
With the talent and depth on this roster, if we play defense, watch out.
Really excited for the season to start.

Sounds like a shite show in the making. Why can't the powers that be get their stuff together and make a damn decision.

Got email from LSU yesterday..Gave 4 options for this years season tickets.

It stated that lower and middle seats would not be used per SEC mandates

To me that tells me only upper deck seating will all thats offered. Then, you have to "draft" your seats depending on your priority points standings.

Thus, im opting out for a full refund, less the $$ hold my seats for next year.

THis is just a totally fricked up season for LSU sports and sports in general. Ill be so happy when this shite is over with

Just not as simple I guess. With football, especially in SEC, it was conference only; so that left it only to the SEC office to dictate the schedule. No contracts or negotiations and things needed, and tv contracts already in place.

With CBB, the OOC portion of the season is more hectic, b/c schools can schedule their own games, which means negotiating and doing contracts, then you have media rights involved too. So it just taking some time to get all of these pod tournaments sorted out with schools and tv; and in LSU's case still having to negotiate with teams to actually come to BR to play.

Listening to Wade and O talk is like night and day. I don't think there is any detail of the program Wade doesn't evaluate. Maybe almost to a fault. Other than recruiting, O is a complete "big picture" guy. He knows what he wants something to look like, but he's not maniacal about the details it takes to reach the overall goal.

Nick Saban vs Les Miles exactly.....

LSU basketball and Penrod have this in common vis-à-vis COVID-19: Just as Penrod went from a 3 to a 6 by wearing a mask, LSU's basketball atmosphere will go from a 3 to a 6 because the crowd limits, which hardly affect LSU, will drag the Kentuckys and Dukes down to our level.

I don’t get this.. LSU basketball defense has been below average at best ever since Wade has been here... offensive continuity spacing and ball movement were also below average last year.

I am glad Wade is here. Hopefully we do not get 9 infractions like Arizona... we will get something.

Wade speaks better and faster than orgeron .. true.

Wade does throw players under the bus..

Anyway I don’t get the implication that Wade>Orgeron

LSU basketball has been on a totally different level since Wade has been here. Did you watch LSU basketball the previous 5 years before Wade? Also, Ed O inherited a much richer program than Wade. Wade got a team/program that was not in the same spot as LSU football.

I’m not saying Wade is > than Ed O, but Wade has done a fantastic job at LSU.

Also, have you followed NCAA basketball recruiting? If you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying.
