Well he hasn’t yet but possibly could. Look I think it’s more about him having us on the cusp of greatness then having this new assclown bring us so far down I mean people just aren’t used to being at the bottom of the SEC with no hope in sight. Winning cures everything, and your boy can’t even recruit!

Will Wade’s LSU Program
Yea, Wade was right there on the cusp of greatness.

You just made my point lol. I’m an LSU fan. I hope McMahon gets it turned around bc he coaches LSU.
I wanted us to keep Wade but understand why he wasn’t retained.
I was hopeful about McMahon bc I want LSU to be successful and that’s more important to me than saying I was right they should’ve kept Wade.
Bitching continually about it says a lot about people like you.
The bottom line for me is I’ll cheer for LSU and McMahon bc he’s the coach. I’m not very optimistic based on what I’ve seen so far and think if next year is the same then he needs to go.
You can be upset about Wade’s firing without being a whiney bitch about it

No doubt. I’ll never forget that one year we won an ncaa tournament game with Wade on the bench.

Compared to our present HC, Wade is closer to John Wooden than Wade is to Mac.

You probably will forget that memory before we have another winning season. Hang on Sloopey.
Good news, when you are at the bottom there is only one direction possible. Three conference wins will be a fifty percent improvement. Be positive!

It’s a bit much Gus. The constant whiney bitch posting.
I wanted Wade retained but posting like a scorned teenage girl isn’t gonna change anything
Y’all do y’all I guess

The Wade worshippers on this board are cult-like in their devotion.

Why did you comment on this when I have an LSU Basketball thread and you have not commented there?
Read your thread and more of a LSU basketball discussion, this thread is more of a poking the bear thread about Will Wade and the Casino appearance.
A big name coach hanging out at a Casino is going to make news. Not really fair but reality.

Lives there? Reason could be that he is McNeese coach.

Lives in the Nugget specifically, idiot.

It is a cult. The sad part is that they are too blinded or stupid to realize that Wade is nothing more than a worse version of Dale Brown.

Before he turned 40 years old, he took over an LSU program that won 2 conference games. He won the league in 2 years and had us in the postseason 5 straight years (yes I’m counting 2020). Again, all before his 40th birthday.
Was he the best coach ever in this 5 year stretch, of course not. But which current top tier coach had more success at the P5 level before turning 40? When was the last time LSU made 4 NCAAT’s in a row (yes I’m counting 2020, we were safely in the field)?
He wanted to be here for the long haul, and based on his first 5 years in the P5, yes I think he was LSU’s best chance for sustained success since Dale Brown.
It’s funny listening to the dumbasses argue he peaked in year 5 at the ripe old age of 39, and would have never done better than winning the league and the Sweet 16 (as if those are things that LSU has routinely done in the last 3 decades). This seems to ignore that just in his time here, he adapted and made changes to better his teams. Defense was a weak spot in 20-21, so what does he do, how about a top 20 defense in the nation in 22. Yeah, sounds like a coach that’s static and probably peaked at 39 years old….
I think he will be a very successful coach based on his body of work to date and the likelihood that he’s got 20-25 years of coaching ahead of him. Would have been awesome to see him in purple and gold for those years, especially after the first 5 he had here.
But you morons are right, he’s probably peaked at age 40 and LSU will have no problem replacing him and exceeding the consistency he had during his first 5 years.

So, we have a thread about someone spotting the McNeese basketball coach in a casino?
I can't wait for the thread about the sighting of the ULL tennis coach at Wendy's.
Film at eleven.

In a game where every coach is cheating, he was dumb enough to get caught.
