Florida 99' was crazy. It was my second game in Tiger Stadium and we sat there the entire time while they beat us 55-7 or something. Mike the tiger and the cheerleaders were sliding on the field like it was a slip and slide it was so wet.

i don't remember it raining... that was my freshmen year. i was on one of those "gameday dates" (back when they let greeks have 2 sets of tickets) in a dress at that game, but for some reason i don't remember the rain - which is weird...you'd think i'd remember that.

Tulane '82. We had just sealed an Orange bowl bid and Tulane beat us the next week in the rain. One of most frustrating games I've been to in Tiger Stadium.

I can't believe it took 40 or so posts to bring up the 1979 Alabama game.
I can say from personal experience that the 1988 Miami game is the winner.

Miami 1988. Clearly. I had just returned from Basic training, we had drill that weekend in Avondale around Clinton. I brought my radio and listened to Hawthorne say at times he couldnt see the field to report what was going on. A tornado hit us that night and blew trees down everywhere. That was some night.

FSU 01 was the worst I attended. We were ranked tenth from the bottom and FSU was in the top 5. At the beginning of the forth qtr we were winning. The entire student section was drenched and couldn't cheer any more, we were horse. It was awesome.

You know it's the slow part of the off season with this rant topic.
Of course we all know it doesn't rain in Tiger Stadium, but that Miss. St. game in 96 was the most rain I ever sat through.
Had my wallets' contents on the dash trying to dry out my money on the way home.

You were born in 1991. Three years before your berth the worst rain game in TS occurred.

I was there and Miami 88 was the worst .. not to mention the arse kicking we received

1. Miami 1988 (umbrellas were still allowed in TS, but did not so anything to help)
2. MSU 1996 (ish) in student section, drenched. My friend leans over and says he is urinating in spot and to watch my feet. Would not have known had he not told me because of the waterfall going down the steps.

freso state 08 always comes to mind... no it may not have rained much during the game, but i was on the ramps under the student section ankle deep in water. if i remember correctly the student section talked tiger band into playing while we were down there hahaha

September 04, 2004 Oregon St.
I took these pics at that game. The field was water logged after a huge storm. Things were getting boring and you could just feel that something was gonna happen...... and it did. Gawd... that was frickin' hilarious! He was so proud of himself.

I was there, sitting in the Purple Section which was covered - the rain was coming in sidewards. Wife and I got soaking wet! (and it was one of the worst games the Tigers ever played!)
