What in Skip Bertman’s resume qualified him to be AD at a major (LSU) school?

Maybe Dan or Scott can hire him on as a Deputy Associate DOA in a few years after he bombs out at KU.

LSU needs a real experienced and proven AD at this point in time, not a Sunshine figurehead...……..

Not this quickly, he committed to them, he's not gonna bail before coaching a game.

Maybe after a couple of years.

I wish Coach Miles the best but he does not look to be in good health to me from the last couple of press conferences. His torture of the English language crossed the line from funny to sad. I don’t think he’s a long term solution to Kansas’s problems either. I hope I’m wrong.

I get you, his health has seemed to wane. He's lost some weight. But I never want to hear this bullshite about the English language. Are y'all still hung up on being too slow to understand him? Our head coach now doesn't speak proper English. Come the frick on.

And before anyone thinks I'm saying he should be AD, I prefaced saying, why not? That is if Joe isn't making the decisions and bowing down to what other people said.

Every decision has people saying it wasn't him.

Forgot to add, Les has faced the media and fans in a public forum more than anyone currently employed by LSU. The rest hid, even when they leaked to fire him.

Les couldn’t run his one program at the end but you’d want him to run all of them?

One of Miles biggest flaws was his loyalty to coaches/players who weren’t getting the job done anymore. I don’t think that’s a qualification we want in an AD.

but what qualities does he possess that would make him a strong AD?

He's very likeable and entertaining. He would do a great job traveling the state, plus cities like Atlanta and Houston with a lot of alumni, and getting people to turn out for fundraising events.

The administrative/nuts and bolts tasks could go to behind the scenes employees.

Of course, it would have worked better a year ago when the new job would have voided his buyout. (Instead of settling for $1.5 million.)
