Nick Storz was the prized recruit this season and not having him available put a big wrench in the plans of Mainieri and Dunn. Labas was also expected to contribute heavily, but his injury to start the season put him behind the 8 ball and he’s been playing catch-up since.

Do they? Do you links to back this up? Baseball isn’t like FB so i really don’t know. I know last year they had a really insane record but their ace was pulled before Omaha for uh um off the field issues and they lost (who knocked them out again? From reading this board I would think losing a star pitcher is no excuse especially since they apparently have 17 guys that throw 98 mph.
