Loser’s mentality. Basically what our fanbase has sunk to.

You coming home happy and/or crying yourself to sleep on your cock shaped pillow after a game has no bearing on the team's mentality. Just an FYI.

Exactly. The fans have no impact on how good or bad the team is.

It's highly doubtful that the Tards on here have gone against the proven studies on this subject and have selected to be bitches only on this message board. All of you are pitiful.

Link the studies. Scholarly articles and case studies only. Needs to be in APA format and have at least 2 redundant blind studies for certainty.

I feel like there are people that just sit there waiting to downvote and spew negativity for no reason other than they are miserable at life.

Just the other day Richard Dickson said on radio that early in camp the D is always way ahead of the O. Obviously that was the case yesterday. Good look getting some of these idiots to understand that.

Amen. It's a fricking scrimmage. I've heard for years how GREAT the qb's looked. I've heard how great Jefferson, Jennings and Harris looked at Cub Scout passing camp. How we've opened up the offense. How Frank Herron is gonna dominate. How Trevontae Valentine can't be blocked by the entire Spartan army. I'll panic over an actual game when it's time.
We talkin bout practice, man.

It's a scrimmage. None of us know anything about how this team will perform.
So a scrimmage (or spring game) tell us NOTHING? Then why do they do it. Killing time I guess.

Granted, it is far from a complete picture. Everything needs to be put in context, and we lack the context. But it is of no informational value at all? I disagree.

very true. In almost all cases. And the D was way ahead in the spring. They've gotten further ahead. The gap has not closed.

While that isn't unexpected, nor does it mean the offense is fricked. It does tell us either the D has picked up the development pace or the O isn't developing near about as fast as it should.

I say it is both. Hence the differential continues to grow. It is a scrimmage; doesn't tell us everything we need to know. It does tell us how each side performs against equitable competition. Which we will indeed face by November. Hell, we're playing a top-15 team in the opener with some good LBs and a solid DL (sound familiar?) on Sept 2nd.

This isn't final grades; it is a report card. We need extra credit now.

Oh, and the people who keep saying our D is that good:
ponder this... what if the D is average? We don't know do we since spring game and a scrimmage tell us nothing (the theory espoused here). Wouldn't that mean our offense is much worse than it appears? I don't think that's the case. But in the context of these posts it is a possibility.
