happens at the end of the year with remaining inventory. Just seems like prices have hit their climax. For all I know we are still the perpetual 6 months away though.
I think early 2024 will be telling too
Excess Inventory will force big price cuts

I just don’t see prices dropping much lower.
With the drop in prices also comes less on my trade in value too.
Two valid points. Even if they drop by 15-20%, that's still an expensive vehicle purchase. I don't know if trade in prices fall linearly. If they do, then I think you'd come out ahead, but if trade ins fall more rapidly than new vehicle prices do, then upside down.
I don't particularly see prices dropping by much, but I'm curious if dealer financing comes back with a roar. My next truck will be a 3/4 ton and I haven't seen any dealer financing on the Lariat, Laramie types of packages.

Hollingsworth ford has several XLT demos 3.5, 4x4, big screen ~53k. Most have 600miles or so.
Ford is offering 3.9 financing too, not sure what the catch is.

Use a website like caredge and its worth paying for if you're actually about to buy. They can tell you where the deals are and also say if prices are good or not, be willing to potentially buy online or go out of market for a great deal.
Trucks are PILING UP at dealers around me from what I've seen. Interest rates really hitting that market harder and harder.
truecar is also a free way of seeing what the average price is for a particular vehicle around you. I just put in a F-150 XLT 4x4 supercrew and people are averaging $6k-$7k off MSRP around me

Many plants are rejecting the contract negotiated. Not sure how it plays out when the UAW negotiated but the plants reject.
