Damn. I was going to put 25k in a S&P fund Friday but now I’m backing off

I thought this would be a good buy with tech down but how do we know this won’t plunge?

My goodness what a panicky little fella you are.

Market may not be for you, maybe try a Certificate of Deposit. Low stress.

Nvidia getting slapped

Not sure about this Chinese development but I can’t help but wonder if the U.S restrictions that we put on China’s use of Nvidias chips is coming back to bite us.

Perhaps they found a cheaper way.

I could be wrong but this definitely feels like something we'll look back on in6-12 months and be like "that was hilarious that that caused a panic"

I'm hoping for more like 3-6 weeks

You're being fearful when others are fearful. Not a recipe for success according to the GOAT.

Nvda has a daily gap around 120 but buy some Dec 150 calls would be easy money at open. Sell half at 100% and let the rest ride.

Loaded Sept 150c under 120...this is free money imo

Anyone remember the yen scare a few months ago? I didn't think so.

I am heavy QQQ. There have been 19 "similar days" since January, 2023 and its up big.

Wish I had more cash on sidelines to throw at it today.

The public doesn't understand currency trades. What they can understand is that if a new product costs 1% to make of what the current products cost to make, those that supply the old products are going to be in a world of hurt. With the Fed this week and possible Feb.1 tariffs wars, I wouldn't buy a single thing right now.
