Would the permitting have to be approved before the Final Funding Decision happens? This could help with understanding timelines.

The permits should be a foregone conclusion. Their recovery tech touches all the eco weenie-greta heartstrings. With the exception that the product supports first world lifestyles.

Typically permitting is locked in before FID in large cap projects…with that being said this is SLI so who knows they may pull the trigger early

You can absolutely move forward with FID understanding the risk of potential hold ups. They are probably about 98% confident based on other industrial projects in the area what they can expect.

Worst case scenario, they find an Ivory Billed Woodpecker nesting on the land.

Has El Gaucho requested a job referral from any of you long-term shareholders for an operator job?

Don't you get that toxic SOB anywhere near Eldorado, everyone would quit before production starts.

Maybe this is why they made that subtle change to the investor presentation where in August it said FID “by end of 2025” then Sep FID “around” end of 2025.
Either way we’ve waited this long what’s another month or two to clear permitting and FID closer to March

I will add that literally the only reason they have to do an environmental study is because they are getting federal funds.

If the plant were being built absent the grant, it wouldnt meet the criteria to need a federal environmental study.

Nice. Wish I had 300k+ shares again, but it was a lot easier to accumulate them at $.37/share.

I may be wrong but despite what the "experts" are saying, I don't think hope of Trump investing in SLI is driving the price. I think it's more based on the east Texas report. We don't have the grant though. I can see him doing it, that generally is going to mean a price floor as well to ensure profitability to prevent cheap foreign lithium from destroying domestic production. And we're green. Be hard for the left to be again green lithium production. As long as it doesn't dilute my ownership, it would be great.

Yea I don't understand why they would not have invested in SLI, compared to hard rock. Makes me think SLI already has plans in the works and just not able to announce yet. But wth do I know just my gut feeling. Been waiting forever, it just feels like they took longer, but did things right.
