Well they beat on it and got all the way down to $90.35 at 2:30 EST but the $90 wall held and it bounced all the way back to close at $93.11
Now we are carrying the trend of blasting it down as soon as Shanghai trading hours open.
Seems to be the new norm they haven't been able to really impact a daily close too far to the red since the 29th and 31st of Dec 2025.

I can confirm this. Done several sales with JM Bullion. Most current one initiated Jan 9th and still waiting. Will update when $ received.

$96. Is this the day? Are we making a run for $100?

We hit $95.848 today but actually got to $95.8956 yesterday before they blasted it back down below $91.
Don't think we will run at $100 today as it would require a $7+ day and that would leave some people shook.
I don't expect we will hit $100 tomorrow either because there is no way they will let us have a weekly close above such a massive psychological barrier.
Next week will be critical because next Friday is both week and month end close and if we break $100 and hold by then it will be a $28 up candle. We got $28 up last month during intraday trading but they blasted it down on the 29th over $11. I expect that level of aggression next week but we will see.

I agree. $100 is the equivalent of storming the beach at Normandy, but then you must hold the beach head.

Prices are so high that superheroes are hunting Silver Surfer for his melt value.

When my son was born, I bought a tube of 20 American Silver Eagles from his birth year with the idea that I would give it to him when he graduated high school. I think I spent less than $400. Now they're going for over $2000. Hopefully the kid doesn't cash them up for something stupid.

I have a feeling someone somewhere will finally decide to chokehold CME/COMEX into failure to deliver force majeure and that is when the leverage derivatives complex will start to unwind into the worlds largest game of hot potato/musical chairs.
They won't do that until they have secured their portfolio in counterparty risk free assets because the last thing they want to do is force the melt before they have taken their seat to watch the fireworks.
Will it happen this year? Perhaps. Can they kick the can down the road a while longer? Definitely. I can't get time right but the overall path forwards is crystal clear.

I've got a bar of silver thats been sitting in my gun safe for like 8 yrs. Was debating taking it to sell if it hit $100. I think i paid around $18/oz when i bought it.

So much temptation to hit red button. How long is this going to continue?

I have some silver and some cash. Should I buy more silver with the cash?

How long will we continue to print $2,000,000,000,000 per year and devalue the dollar?
I’d bet that long. It’s math

Actually may be an issue in the short term as apparently the wholesaler / middle men are having a liquidity crisis. Apparently they short silver to balance the metal they carry to try to keep things even at 0 (hedging) so the carry no risk on normal price moves and make all their money on the premiums from sales, but the price has been moving too fast and so they’re losing their asses on the short side:

If tweet fails to load, click here. I’m not worried about it, it’s not going to be a quick top then crash, demand is limited for many years and supply is going to keep going up, so eventually this gap will be filled.
Guess you could miss out on selling at an over value price before a pullback but it seems like we are still a good ways from that.
