What the hell is going on? Is everyone jumping on board because they believe the EPA announcement is coming soon?
Posted on 12/23/25 at 12:31 pm to Jax-Tiger
seems like it's just correcting from the plunge on the 17th
Posted on 12/23/25 at 12:31 pm to Jax-Tiger
Graphene Manufacturing Group got approval yesterday or recently. Maybe people think approval for HGRAF is eminent.

Has anyone seen mekawarrior?
Posted on 12/23/25 at 12:41 pm to Jax-Tiger
He’s gone.
I asked him a few questions on other threads about mining and haven’t seen him.

I was wondering the same thing. Haven't heard from him or the OP.

After seeing your question I went back and looked. He has not posted on TD since Halloween day.

That's is unfortunate, because he was a good source of information. I hope he is okay.

Cannot wait for the EPA decision. It all starts then.
This could be a huge catalyst by itself.
But this is bigger. We dont have e to wait for the capacity to be built. They can paper the agreements and announce them once EPA is announced. Even before they build the production facility.

?? The HGRAF Thesis: Why Graphene's Starting Gun is the EPA
The narrative around **HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. (HGRAF)** is reaching its climax. This isn't just about a new material; it's about a **pristine solution** that is stuck behind a **regulatory bottleneck**.
Here is a concise analysis of why the imminent EPA decision is the single most critical catalyst for this company.
**?? Uniqueness: The** \\text{sp}\^2 **Difference**
HGRAF's patented **detonation synthesis** yields **Fractal Graphene™**, a claimed 99.8% pure, few-layer material that maintains its ideal \\text{sp}\^2 **bonding**.
This high purity is the secret weapon that solves billion-dollar industrial problems:
• **Batteries:** It provides the structural integrity and high conductivity needed to contain and stabilize **silicon anodes**, unlocking massive energy density gains without capacity fade (the **silicon expansion problem**).
• **Industry:** It delivers ultra-low friction in lubricants and superior strength in composites, offering **sustainable, high-performance upgrades** across various sectors.
**?? The Regulatory Bottleneck: EPA Tonnage Approval**
Despite the technological edge, HGRAF cannot sell its product at the **tonnage volumes** required by major industrial customers until the EPA grants final commercial clearance under the TSCA.
• **The Problem:** The EPA review is backlogged and complex, having been delayed by government shutdowns.
• **The Wait:** The entire commercial sales pipeline—including partners under **NDAs** (Non-Disclosure Agreements)—is in a holding pattern. Large companies will not risk signing massive supply contracts until this regulatory uncertainty is **zero**.
**?? The Catalyst: The Race Begins**
The moment the EPA announces full commercial approval (expected late 2025/early 2026), the following happens immediately:
1. **Risk Reduction:** The company is de-risked, converting it from a technology project into a viable commercial supplier.
2. **Contract Execution:** NDAs are immediately lifted, and those large, **multi-tonnage supply contracts**—likely including high-profile partners—are executed and announced.
3. **Scale-Up Justification:** The full acceleration of the planned **350+ ton-per-year Texas production facility** is justified, transitioning HGRAF from development to a large-scale manufacturer.
**The EPA approval is the starting gun.** It triggers a race for sales and market share that will fundamentally redefine HGRAF's valuation from speculative potential to revenue-driven growth.

Yep. As ready as I am for the approval, I’m also still adding on a weekly basis, so I’m ok with this stretching out a little farther.

If be been adding every 6 weeks or so. One major sell though. I’ll continue nibbling and hope we get the lightning in the bottle.

TSCA Backlog
Fairly recent article, November, that paints the picture of the possible delay.
As of the article 66.7% of backlog chemiclas have been waiting 365 days or more.
New EPA administrator, Zeldin, needs to light a fire, this affects more than just our little stock play.

Wondering if the military applications for Graphene will help move the approval to the front of the approval pile?
Certainly Cant hurt that the DoW is going to be one of the first customers

I did a little more digging...
Basically my take is it's not a matter of if, but when they will be approved. EPA has rulled on graphene generally, but companies must notify EPA individually for approval to manufacture thier version of the product. This ruling/determination was final as of end of September this year.... so when did Hydro submit for approval? Where are they in the process?
The big part I take away is EPA is already aware of graphene and it's hazards, it's simply a waiting game now.
quote:
graphene has been reviewed by the EPA under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) in several contexts, leading to specific regulations and consent orders for its commercial use.
The EPA's actions focus primarily on specific forms and uses of graphene as new chemical substances:
Significant New Use Rules (SNURs): The EPA has issued final SNURs for certain types of graphene, specifically graphene nanoplatelets. These rules require manufacturers (including importers) or processors to notify the EPA at least 90 days before engaging in any activity designated as a "significant new use" (e.g., using the substance in ways that could increase exposure, such as processing that generates inhalation exposure).
Premanufacture Notices (PMNs) and Consent Orders: Companies seeking to commercialize new forms or large volumes of graphene must submit a PMN for review.
The EPA has reviewed individual PMNs and issued TSCA Consent Orders that establish specific conditions of use, such as requiring personal protective equipment, limiting environmental releases, and prohibiting certain manufacturing processes.

The CEO has said they submitted the application in 2024, so we are at least 1 year into this. So the approval could be at any time.
I stated that EPA approval could drive the price to 5-6 bucks a share. I if the NDAs are, in fact converted to contracts upon EPA approval, this could go up significantly more than that.

If tweet fails to load, click here. It’s usually holds steady up around $1.90 on bad days. That’s encouraging. The only way I’ll buy more is if I can get a better cost basis and that doesn’t seem to occurring. That’s a good thing.
