The closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about February 11, 2021, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
H.C. Wainwright & Co. is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
Zomedica also has granted to the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,973,684 additional common shares at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.

An institution has given ZOM $25m in exchange for a number of shares at $1.90. This will help fund operations.

I’ll explain it like a first grader explaining it to an idiot. A graduate may come along later and do a better job.
An offering is basically how a public company raises money when they don’t have enough on hand, like you would take out a loan to remodel your house. The negative is it dilutes, or devalues the stock, though it may be very temporarily, by putting more shares out there. Similar to the government printing more money. My guess is that ZOM is doing this offering to help push Truforma to market in March. It’s a pretty small percentage of their overall cap, so I’m not really worried.

Not everyone has a AT for support. The retail investor is so manipulated. Then you got the LOUD KNOW IT ALL INVESTORS, that know zero but scare the shite out of the others that know less. GL.......ZOM is special, ZOM will continue to climb.

imo - ZOM remember has ZERO revenue today. Launching a new product after years of development is expensive. We know Covid delayed the launch a year. ZOM needed funds to continue through launch, PERIOD!! GL
