I can find out for sure if he posts here..I can also find out his screen name..I’m not that interested if he does or not, but if you guys want to know, I’m game...
I’ve known him for a long time..I played poker a ton with him online, and even more in live tournaments through the years(a little bit in live cash games as well)- a good friend of mine was his roommate for a while, so I had a good bit of interaction with him...I always found him quite strange/too hyperactive—-but he always felt innocent/like he had good intentions and was just off a little...
I’ve been wondering about the big hire...thought it was a joke at first...I don’t see how he brings much with those social media yelling/rambling posts..doesn’t seem like he gets many views/comments either..maybe the guys at barstool have a bigger/longer plan for the guy? I’m kinda rooting for him though, mostly b/c beyond the slight weirdness/awkwardness he did come off as a kind/genuine person

I think Barstool has done a good job integrating their content into betting with the unique props, but the forced shite with Mush and other losers is terrible.

I don't know that they think he's worthless, but its been an odd fit. He's not a content guy and not a true degenerate gambler as he seems to only bet football. It wouldn't be bad for them to have more of a southern presence there. Poor dude kind of groveling at the end

You’ve got to have a little bit (or a lot of bit) of crazy to be a barstool content guy
I mean imagine working for an organization that just lets a psycho like Rico Bosco roam freely and pays him to do it
ETA although I will say take any kind of feud with a grain of salt this time of year. During the non football calendar, they create these fake feuds constantly to drive clicks

I mean Dave thinks he covers minor league baseball when every one of his tweets is about college baseball lol.

yeah I was going to say, he's just not enough of an a-hole. Dave probably would have respected him more had he gave him some shite back. Hell, toss some of the other worthless people there under the bus "just figured I could coast since you guys renewed trysta that hosts a podcast no one watches"
They'll either let him be the Barstool La. guy once the sports books open here....or hosting a show on 104.5 within the year

To be fair, many of the Barstool guys have been hearing this type of stuff from Dave directly and publicly and have been there for years and years. It’s better in a way that he is shite talking you, than not talking you at all.
I mean they let the Barstool Outdoors kid run around on their dime for 3-4 years doing pretty much zero work and just creeping on every pro athlete’s daughter that came through the office and the only reason he left was because they finally made him come back to the office and start doing work and he peaced out (hopefully to rehab)

He doesn't do anything that produces revenue. He can have 5 million Twitter followers (he doesn't) but if all he does is tweet it doesn't make barstool any money.
He doesn't blog or podcast or put out sponsored content.
Seems like a nice guy, but I don't think people in the South take him seriously because he's pretty weird to be honest, and once the haha laugh at the southerner that has a funny voice wears off for people outside the South they won't care about him either.

This is kind of Portnoy's thing and there are guys he talks shite about that are there for years and years.
But I do agree, Mintz needs to do a MUCH better job producing original content and drawing people in. I don't know that he's going to make it at Barstool.
