Hanny hasn't changed it just appears that way because that loudmouth overbearing Ott controls every conversation, the dude really is useless.
I complained on here about the same thing earlier in the year when this show first started. I was assured by many here that it would change during football season and the show would actually talk football and sports the majority of the time. Well guess what, it hasn't changed and I am not surprised. It was just a few weeks ago a few days before a LSU game they were talking gambling on hockey. How many freaking ppl in South Louisiana give a shite about hockey during LSU football season. But they are sponsored by a sportsbook so it won't change.

I agree, hannegrif is the best in the business. He is right to the point and I love his rational opinions. Ott is good but the gambling talk is way out of control. Nobody wants to hear that much gambling talk. It’s only one segment (the opening) where it’s just hanny and ott talking sports. The rest is gambling crap

The problem with hunt is he thinks everyone cares what he likes. Hunt talks way too much golf and baseball during football season.

Ott breathes into the damn mic you can hear his nose whistle. He can’t finish a fricking thought. His “guests” suck. His incessant play by play of the AMC Bowling Classic during a 15 minute segment is the worst radio this side of buddy Songy

They should hammer the gambling stuff on Fridays like lock of the week, etc, and completely give it a rest the rest of the week. Seems like that's what they used to do.

I like the show on Fridays when Bruce Marshall appears. Jimmy tries too hard. I know Ott has paid his dues to be on a sports station but I wish he would let Charlie take the reigns a bit more. I think Jimmy might have a hyperactive disorder. Charles should be running ESPN Baton Rouge-if he desires to do so.

One of these things is not like the others.
Mike Greenberg is on national ESPN radio. They just broadcast his solo radio show in BR because they don’t have any local programming to fill that awkward time slot between morning and lunch time.
As for OP’s point, yeah I don’t understand why they are basically doing a straight up gambling show at lunch time. I get the feeling that it’s the only thing Ott knows how to talk about.
I liked when they had Hanny and Hester paired together. Both are very knowledgeable and level-headed.
Honestly if they’re going to have Ott & Hanny doing a sports betting show, they should move that to 1 PM and give Hunt Palmer the lunchtime slot. But I guess the whole “live from [insert restaurant]” shtick would be a little awkward from 1-3.

The gambling aspect of the show drugs Sports Today down a few years ago, which is presumably why they cut it off and separated it and gave Jimmy his own show. Now they're back together and it's doing the same damn thing.
I literally cannot listen to people talking about betting all the damn time. I don't give a shite about betting, and quite frankly nobody that I know gives a shite about betting either.
At the very least, they should have one segment on betting and put it all together so that it can be easily ignored rather than talking about gambling literally every 30 seconds.

I haven't listened to Ott in ages...does he still do regular interviews with the guy from South Point Sportsbook in Vegas who has to say the name of the business in every sentence? "Jimmy, we've got Alabama as a three point favorite at South Point Sportsbook. But we've seen a lot of LSU action at South Point Sportsbook over the past two days. We're expecting a big Saturday at South Point Sportsbook with LSU-Alabama and Georgia-Missouri"

Only 2 reasons Ott is on radio when he is by himself he literally pays for the air time to spew his gambling crap for his bookies. Him and Hanny are best friends and brings Ott along for the ride.
