Is that really worse than giving up 2 picks to take Ingram? Though at least the Saints had him whem PT got hurt Saturday
It was one of the dumbest moves. I am a huge Ingram fan but in today's NFL you don't draft a RB that high unless he has elite measurables. Besides the Saints already have two pretty competent RBs with Thomas and Ivory. The Saints desperately need to improve their defense and there's bound to be a good defensive player that will drop to 27. Too bad they don't have the pick.

Vikes either take Claiborne or Kalil.
Your call on who you to put as the consensus.
I disagree that they'll take Claiborne. I see the Vikings trying to surround Ponder with as good of a supporting cast as possible. If Kalil is gone by the time they pick, the Vikings will take Blackmon.

It was a knee jerk reaction to having a bunch of RB's injuried at the end of 2010 and getting infatuated with a high profile skill position. I'm off the opinion that you can find RB's and the Saints are proof of that (Thomas and Ivory were undrafted FA's) making matters worse is i felt like TR was the better RB all along.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
The Bucs have more problems than RB. This pick would only set them back.

Personally, I just don't get it with Tannehill...even at #8 to the Dolphins, which I've also seen. I hope the Browns think twice.
And I still think that's too high to go for Richardson, but TB has made some odd choices before. Also, damn near every mock I found has him going to the Bucs with the 5 pick. What do I know? Judging from my NCAA bracket: not much!
The choice of DeCastro in Dallas would be fine with me, but I've seen anyone from Poe to Janoris Jenkins projected there, too. No telling how Jerruh will screw this one up
It's good to see Brockers moving up, but Mo appears to be slipping a bit. Still Top 10, but not 3-5 like he used to be. Somebody's gonna be real, happy with him.

John Clayton was on ESPN radio today and was saying he is hearing the Bucs are going to take Richardson. I agree that it's an odd move, but it's the Bucs. They may be creating a market for TR in hopes that somebody trades picks with them.

whatabout the Browns and Tannehill? You think they'll go that way?

23.) Lions - Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
Personall, I thought the Lions would've given a look at him had JJ not gone to UNA and entered the supplemental draft but this works too

I think Blackmon slips out of the top 10. He doesn't have top end speed and is only 6'1. Not to mention he played in a spread offense. I think Floyd is the better pick at WR.

The Browns blew it. They absolutely blew it. They had a chance to move up for Robert Griffin in exchange for Nos. 4 and 22, as well as a first-rounder next year. That was the correct price to pay for a franchise quarterback. Mike Holmgren doesn't realize that for some reason, and that's why Cleveland will continue to dwell in the AFC North cellar.
The Browns offered that, and the Rams decided to make the trade with Washington. Not Holmgrens fault.
They came out today and said Colt is the QB next year. They will draft Richardson.

They came out and said they are fine with Colt at QB for this season. Take it FWIW
Tannehill is a 2nd-3rd round talent IMO and idk how he has made his stock rise like he has but he needs to write a book on it

15.) Philadelphia Eagles: Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
No one knows the Eagles better than Pro Football Hall of Fame writer Ray Didinger. He believes Philadelphia will spend this selection on a defensive tackle (he mentioned Devon Still). Fletcher Cox is the better prospect, however.
Why a defensive tackle? Because it's what Andy Reid does. The position doesn't really have to be addressed, but Reid loves having a deep and talented rotation in the trenches.
*** OTHER 2012 NFL DRAFT POSSIBILITIES: ***
1. Michael Floyd, WR - DeSean Jackson has been re-signed, but the Eagles are still searching for a big receiver to help their quarterback's red-zone woes.
2. Ryan Tannehill, QB - If Tannehill falls to No. 7, it wouldn't surprise me if Philadelphia moves up for him. The Eagles need a talented, young quarterback, and getting Tannehill could be Reid's ticket to an extension.
I really hope this happens, but he's got a lot of momentum and may go higher.
I do think the Eagles Need a DT though. Jenkins is older and Patt isn't young any more either. Need eventual replacements in place.

Yeah, it gets to be a crapshoot after 12 or so, if not sooner. So much can happen...

Easter update. This site moved quite a few picks around, with Barron moving up quite a bit, and Upshaw falling all the way to the Pats at 27 (Saints old pick, but one they may not have had access to anyway, as it turns out.)
I'm working on something with input from other mock sites, see if I can come up with my own consensus for this thread instead of relying on just the one.

I'd be thrilled with Cox.
Doubt they'd pursue a corner in the 1st. They are already overloaded at the position and trying to move Samuel so DRC and Aso can play outside together. And they spent a high pick on a high upside guy last year in Curtis Marsh.
They may look at a CB in the 2nd/3rd though, but more of a slot guy with KR ability like Brandon Boykin.
I'm guessing top 2 targets are Cox and Kuechly (who would move to SLB with the trade for Ryans).
If Tannehill falls far enough, they'd pounce (which would summarily make me puke).
In the 2nd, I would think they would pursue James-Michael Johnson over the LB they mention, but who knows, since JMJ is pretty much a true MLB.

Where's the Honey Badger?
I'm surprised no one posted this with sincerity.
