I'm going to vomit.

Fanatics will replace Adidas as the NHL's outfitter of on-ice uniforms and authentic jerseys beginning with the 2024-25 season, the league announced Tuesday.
The deal runs 10 years. Financial terms were not disclosed. This marks the first time Fanatics branding will be directly on an official player uniform for a professional sports property.

Well all of the replica Fanatics gear people have is no longer in danger of being obsolete
.
Fanatics has the best storefront to buy stuff at least. Will be weird at first but should be fine in the long run.
Will be interesting to see if Fanatics gets into other sports.

Fanatics as as store front is great but the couple of fanatics branded shirts I have bought were all shite.

They already do. They own majestic, which makes the MLB jerseys, and they contract with Nike to make all of the NFL jerseys.
Fanatics has already said that they're going to keep making them in the same Quebec factory that Adidas already uses.
Don't think much will change. I will say Adidas did a great job with theme jerseys and unique looks. Reverse Retro was an awesome idea, and a better execution.

Right - I think people on the internet are assuming that replica quality will persist across the authentic jersey front.
I think it's going to take time for people to calibrate their minds that everything isn't a Fanatics replica. It will be fine (eventually).

You think Fanatics will finally figure out how to get Bedard's name right when he gets drafted?

When did the Toronto Lightning come into existence?

Typical Fanatics quality control.

@FanaticsSucks is a must follow on Twitter. But the comedy routine doesn't stop here.

Majestic has been out of MLB for years. Nike makes MLB jerseys now. And when Nike took over, the cost to buy one skyrocketed.

I’m ready for them to make this mistake as they have in the past.
Great deal for the NHL!

Unfortunate OT Loss for STARS last night against Kraken.
Stars and Wild tied at 90 pts, Avs 2 points back but with two games in hand
Pens have lost 4 straight and are now on the outside looking in of the playoffs.

The Pens/Avs game should have a playoff feel to it tonight and be one hell of a game to watch.
Makar, EJ, and Helm all sound like they have a chance to return tonight for Colorado.
EDIT/UPDATE: No go on Makar and EJ (soon though), but Helm returns. Exactly what the Avs needed (aside from just getting everyone back healthy) given the ERod injury. Slides Newhook to 2LW, Helm to 4C.

Moneypuck has the Pens 47% to make the playoffs as of day ago - seems like a must win tonight.
The Eastern WC race was on fire 6 weeks ago and basically everyone has fallen on their face other than Florida and the Isles.

It was looking like an amazing WC race between NYI/Pitt/Florida/Ottawa/Buffalo/Detroit and then everybody started sucking
Seems like NYI even with the Barzal injury have one spot on essential lock with the other coming down to Florida/Pittsburgh

It's late March, us Stars fans are used to the decline going into the postseason. This is nothing shocking.
