Man...that was one of the worst refereed games I have ever seen

Coach Collins was irate! He has been coaching football for 30 years all the way from LSU to Neville and he told me that was the worst crew, specifically the line judge was the worst he had ever seen in his life. He said if he was still the D coordinator and not the head coach, he would have gotten tossed. Neville Nation is pissed about Thomas Campbell getting ejected.

Nothing but respect for Powerhouse Neville! They have been beating the brakes off of teams! This also is not the same Central team ...they will find out quickly this is not Chalmette.

Pardon for venting. It was a long 8 year pay back! West Monroe embarrassed Central 56 - 3 ...kept "Starters" in entire game.

I seriously laugh at the Downvotes; apologize if come across to cocky.

Except the body slam and other player coming in stomping by the back’s head last night. Personally I think it’s football. Let the boys play. We’ve been called for a slam multiple times though. Seems subjective. Crew was from Thibodaux.
Let me take a look at that when did it happen?

keep in mind generally speaking playoff crews stay away from fouls that do not affect the play except for safety fouls and pre snap and snap .

I hope that CHS-Ponchatoula crew was chilling on the couch last night

Was the original question which coaches have taken 2 different teams to the title game or won titles with 2 different teams ? Indest was the head coach in 2011, but Carencro lost in the title game.

Central came to play.

Should be a 10-7 or 14-13 type game at Neville

Yea.. the only way to truly make it work would be to buy up the apartments to the east side of stadium and lose most of the claycut parking lot.

It would be nice to have better lighting both inside Memorial but especially in the parking lot.

Enjoy the semis, you won’t beat Neville.

The number of coaches that have take two teams to title games is impressive enough.
Don Shows, Jim Hightower, Louis Cook, David Simoneaux, Bill Stubbs, guy mistretta, off the top of my head - I am sure I am missing a couple
LHSAA and LA High School Sports hall of fame inductee James Waguespack also accomplished that feat. He won championships with St.James in 1979 and Cecilia in 1995.

In his 32 year head coaching career, he compiled 231 wins and at the time of his death in 2019 was the only LA high school coach to lead two different schools to undefeated championship seasons. He also won a state championship as a player at his alma mater St. James. Coach Wag RIP

Neither will score many. Both of those defenses are better than both of those offenses.

I mean..if 4-6 LCA had that game pretty much in the bag until the 4th qtr, I think Bunkie has a good shot.
