Some of the twitterverse are saying that other teams are having vibration issues as well. Not sure their validity with the runtime others have shown.

Hamilton, Hadjar, and Lindblad are happy. Looking competitive relative to their teammates.

Mercedes drivers are a little shocked?

Audi happy.

Merc customers have to be asking where that engine advantage is at.

What car will he be in? Figure it would take him a couple of years to get up to speed then would maybe challenge for top of the second rung if given a top car.

But you’re stating the obvious. It’s not about the car he’d be in, but the deficit against his teammate.

That was a really nice session for Audi. Just going about their business.

Think Merc customers just trying to get rid of some gremlins.

Lawson needs to be thrown out and Yuki put back in that seat.

I officially declare the 2026 F1 season over. Ferrari 1-2 in the WDC and a long-awaited WCC to add to the trophy wall in Maranello.

Audi is beyond impressive, given that they just jumped in as a full manufacturer. Caddy is looking like you expect a freshman to look. Audi quietly looks like a mid-pack contender.

Let’s be real, Yuki was always trash and only had a seat because of Honda.

It's objectively not true. He had a seat because of Honda in year 1 and year 2. But he was solid in this 3rd year, and very solid in his 4th year. In those last two years he beat all of his teammates (de Vries, Ricciardo, Lawson). I'm not saying his direct competition was good, but it's not his fault who his teammates were. If he had stayed at VCARB last year, he would have had a good year and still been in F1 this year. The Red Bull got worse over the four years of that era, to the point that Max was complaining how bad it was to drive. So Yuki's bad showing (like Gasly, Albon, Perez, and Lawson before him) doesn't say much other than he's not top tier. Yuki was a solid middling driver, that doesn't make him trash.

Hadjar's good showing so far doesn't reflect badly on his five predecessors. It's a brand new car under different rules, and Newey is gone. They made a conscious effort to make the car easier to drive. Hadjar was smart to say "no thanks" to the idea he might be promoted during the season last year.
