I hate the manufacturer plans/orders.

Tired of fuel saving at the superspeedways.
Tired of Clint Bowyer.

Was just thinking the same thing,
Fuel saving and half throttle have ruined the Daytona and Talladega and it’s a damn shame.

Casey Mears shouldn’t be racing in Cup. He wasn’t good when he was racing for good teams, so he certainly isn’t going to be good driving a backmarker.

Kyle Busch bailed out of the pack, which was smart.

Crash. Bubba spins off the bumper of Austin Dillon. Buescher, Byron and Chandler Smith involved.

Bubba almost flipped but all of the flaps did their job.

Another crash. Lamegano wins. LaJoie crashes out and will miss the Daytona 500. Looks like Mears will make the 500.

Mears never lifted lol

Wait a second, they’ve brought back victory lane interviews?

That was wild.
I feel sort of bad for LaJoie. He ran a solid lap last night, and his car looked good enough for Sunday.

Why doesn’t the FOX scorebug show positions outside of the top 20?

Elliott wins Duel 2. Alfredo gets into the Daytona 500.

Welp, now we’re back to doing front stretch interviews.

Not so fast… Nascar disqualified Alfredo for some bullshite to do with a hose coming loose and BJ McLeod is in…

For the first time ever, FOX Sports is delivering the Daytona 500 in 4K on Sunday

@BoziTatarevic
The transaxle oil cooler sits in the package tray behind the driver and gets air from NACA ducts mounted in the quarter windows.
Teams can choose how many ducts/hoses to route to the cooler and here at a superspeedway they would want as little opening as possible to reduce drag.
Here is an older example of the hoses used when a transaxle cooler that can take two hoses is used
The transaxle cooler inlet duct is also a part that teams are allowed to produce so it an area where teams use things like 3D printing to build custom components for the biggest aero advantage.
I wrote about how NASCAR teams customize transaxle cooling components to find speed for @Motorsport
How a standard transaxle cooler inlet attaches to the transaxle cooler
