What a pathetic looking crowd at that truck race.
There couldn't have been 20k people in the stands.
Last night's attendance looked pretty bad also.
NASCAR is dying on the vine, and they have done it to themselves.

That ending was awesome. Only 4 DNF’s, lowest ever for a truck Daytona race. Hated that Tony got taken out.
Ruggerio had the save when JHN booted him and he came back on track and almost won.
Also Hocavar had a great flat tire save and him and everyone behind avoided hitting him. Then he got dumb 3 laps down racing like he was going for the win and spun himself out. He has to learn to be smarter.
I watched Race for the Seat and it was good. Minni Tyrel won and got a full season seat. Learned a lot about how much goes into a driver besides driving. Was a fun series.
Ram did good for first race back. But with so many parts controlled by Nascar its easier to enter Nascar now than old days.

The desire to run or finish the 500 at night hasn’t helped the race.
It was better when they started it at noon eastern and it finished mid afternoon.

I think this series is better than Cup. At least TV wise, plus cars are harder to handle.
Booth is so much better than trucks or cup. Jamie Little needs to go back to pit reporting. She said last night she felt sorry Mini Tyrel wouldn’t finish for a simple spinout and had to be corrected by JMac saying he would finish. She adds no value and her fake excitement is nauseating. The Oreilly crew does a good job they don’t overdo it.
Then the CW does coverage way better. Better angles or at least which angle they choose to show. And they give better replays and are in sync with booth talking about action or cars.
Then the racing is better. You have more hungry drivers and they take bigger risks and make it fun.
Good race.

Cup: I hope the drivers behave early on so race can finish before rain. With earlier start it has a chance

Both Craftsman and OR finishes were great. Don't understand the hate on Hill for dominating. It's not his job the make the race competitive, it's up to the other teams to be more competitive.
A minor bitch, the announcers manufactured ways to mention Rajah where there was no real reason to mention Rajah.
A bigger bitch, twice at the end of stages they minimized live action to show something that happened laps before. WTF. Stay with live racing and show us what didn't happen when they are done.
