I get the feeling we have no idea what pitches he throwing, like ever. We swing at fastballs out of the zone, watch meat pitches and generally look confused as frick a bunch

it's amazing the Astros are ONE win away from the World Series when you consider just how historically bad their hitting has been so far.
despite Verlander being absolutely atrocious on the road these playoffs, the pitching has single handily carried this team.... well, that and a lot of luck (errors, wild pitches, etc. from the other team)
