Indiana arguably has to be the best team in the CFP era. Mendoza is perfect and that defense is nasty. Not to mention they have the best Coach since Saban.

This is just as cringe as Moscana posting the Greenberg video after Indiana won.

I think he found a great exploit that others will pick up on.

Having Mark Cuban personally fund fielding a team of experienced 24/25 men who were “NFL light” against teams with 19-year-olds?

I wish they could play some of the other champions. I believe there’s a decent chance they would keep proving folks like you wrong

What’s your argument against them? More talent discrepancy bullshite lol

Huh? Not sure how that applies to the stats I posted.

In just 2 seasons? Probably yes.

Or considering the 4 team playoffs? Before last night, I could have listened to that argument. But after last night, hmm, I'm thinking both 2019 LSU and 2020 Bama would have matched up with them. So I can't say 2026 Indiana is better than either of these two. Definitely in the same conversation but not quite better.

Other teams in this argument could be:

2014 Ohio State
2016 & 2018 Clemson
2012 Bama
Hell maybe even 2023 Michigan

Kind of stupid to have 19 year-olds when you could go get older players. Not much of an argument really.

Indiana's CFP run consisted of beating #9, #5 and #10. Not even a fair comparison to the teams that had to beat two of #1 - #4 to win it in a 4 team playoff.

Kinda stupid to assume teams should be forced to do something the sport has never done while not giving 19 year olds playing time leading to a cycle of CFB becoming a league of 24 year old NFL “almosts” at this expense of actual college kids just to compete

I'm going with Indiana. Simply because the improbability of Indiana winning a championship is off the charts.

I would go

1. 19 LSU
2. 18 Clemson
3. 23 UM
4. 25 IU

In NIL era, sure. They went with experience and as always experience matters, especially when you can’t build a team with depth anymore in the NIL era to compare to the GOATS of previous eras

Perhaps top 10, although one would want to properly credit JMU and CAL for properly aging the players to a ripe 25 and promptly turning them over to fill out the entire roster. Lest we forget, it takes a village.

Weak argument. And why are you bitching about it?

Why wouldn't I be? If this NIL bullshite isn't cleaned up soon, don't be surprised if you see less and less true college athletes anymore. CFB will become more and more about borderline NFL players who stick around until they are 30 years old
