I would have to disagree with the crowd here. I think bama' dynasty is slightly more impressive. Had Miami beat Dallas, I believe ID have a different opinion.
But what impresses me is how bama can reload so easily. Each year they lose all of these great players, yet someone else is always there to come in and forget whoever left.
On the other hand, heat have ?the best player on the planet. And some of the greatest role players on the planet to compliment. They keep that same core of people, so of course they're going to continue to be great no surprise there. Also in the NBA, teams have done three-peats before. I may be wrong but I don't know if this has happened in college before

Check out their recruiting budget. You'll be less impressed with how "easily" they reload.

Bama..now..Miami could do 4-5 in a row breh
Posted on 11/20/13 at 1:41 am to iliveinabox
true, but bama could also grab a couple more. especially with the playoffs providing a little more room for error. granted, it's not like their losses have really hurt their title hopes anyway

There is no playoff field in College Football its just picking the most popular team
They must forget about USC and Notre Dame all the time then...

Heat because in the NBA you actually have to win championships, they aren't voted on.

Wait till they both play out but for now Bama because winning 3 NBA titles in a row (which the Heat hasn't actually done yet) isn't all that unusual.
9 of the last 23 NBA championships are part of 3 peats. That's pretty common.

Hasn't been done in over a decade though.

Heat. There is a more level playing field in the NBA. The Heat can't schedule 3-4 victories every year. They plays half of it's games on the road versus Alabama's 7 or 8.
There's a draft so there is no recruiting advantage and there's free agency.
Alabama plays with a stacked deck.

And which is more likely to 3peat?
I would say the heat. Heat probably have about a 60% chance and Bama has about a 55% chance. Splitting hairs really.

I don't have much of an opinion either way, other than to say that I completely forgot that the Heat have won back-to-back. But this is a push, in my mind.
Alabama created a stacked deck for themselves through winning. And free agency is similar recruiting. With minimum salaries in the NBA, all teams offer the same base so why would a role player go to Miami over one of the mid level-lower level teams? Opportunity to win a title.

Alabama has a stacked deck in regards to facilities and the fact that they can schedule 3-4 wins a year and play at least one game a year against a team from a lower division.
NBA facilities are all pretty much the same. They all share in tv revenue and licensing revenue. Alabama gets millions more in tv than let's say Colorado St. Georgia St. and Chattanooga.
The Heat can't schedule games against a D league team and have it count. Plus the Heat has to go through playoffs. Alabama has won exactly one game the BCS game to win the title. You can say two if you count the SECGC has a playoff game.
The fact that Bama can schedule 3-4 wins a year and have 8 home games means that they have a stacked deck.
