That said, Brees is the victim. If he stuck to his guns, the Saints on-field chemistry is gone, the team sinks to 5-11 or so. Players demand trades, front office and ownership has constant damage control, and the Saints become a focal point for the SJW movement. That last point probably makes the entire franchise virtue signal to the max.
Drew did cave in. He did bend over. But what the hell was his alternative? Why don’t you shite on the rest of the team for not standing up WITH him?
