The Rose Bowl Game has a uniqueness that is unmatched by the other bowl venues. Domed stadiums are sterile.

I do agree with those who are sick of the reverential hype, but the Rose Bowl game is an event with a large viewership for both the parade and game. TV ratings tell the story.

The Superdome may be one of the greatest stadiums ever built, given it's longevity, ability to be modified on the inside, and proximity to nightlife.

Since the recent renovations, the Dome looks every bit as nice on TV as the new stadiums.
