I see arguments for both sides. I get what Saban said that SMU shouldn’t be punished for losing last night but should they have been ranked that high to begin with without beating anyone.

Bama should probably want SMU in. If they get fricked over, SMU boosters might decide to tamper and pay whatever to take bama players. Also harder to dump debore if he back doors his way into the cfp and then wins 2 games
