That's what almost all UNC football games are like. It's a joke. Appalachian State is a better football school than UNC.
UNC has no reason not to be a powerhouse in football. They have the resources, the ACC is not a gauntlet like the SEC is and they are near fertile recruiting grounds in the tidewater area of VA and the eastern areas of NC and SC. They just flat out don't care and have no desire to put in the commitment to truly be good at football.
Football at UNC is nothing more than a social event to kill time until basketball season begins, which is where their passion truly is and always will be.
