One thing I never understood was the praise Miami started getting after beating Florida in a similar fashion as when LSU beat Florida and LSU was lampooned for it. Not saying I disagree with LSU's assessment, more just didn't understand why Miami didn't get the same criticisms.
Sad thing is the rest of Miami's schedule is still pretty weak so they still have a pretty clear path to the ACCCG and playoffs even if they do ultimately lose this game but I guess I just haven't seen where all this hype of them being so dominant this year has been coming from. They won on a last minute FG vs ND, was in a rock fight with Florida for most of that game, and sputtered at the end of the FSU game. I guess they did beat the crap out of South Florida but Indiana beat Illinois worse and Texas Tech's road win vs Utah and how they've looked all year has been more impressive to me.
Maybe I'm also just biased because I have zero faith in Mario but this game isn't that shocking to me. It also wouldn't surprise me if they somehow manage to miss the playoffs even with this schedule. @SMU and @Pitt could both be tricky. He's lucky Syracuse lost their QB for the year and fell off a cliff.
