Have you been watching? Gunner had been fighting for extra yardage on runs all game to that point. You can't just stop momentum the second he starts to slide. He probably could've lessened the blow, but he was still getting hit.

Are you watching? He saw Keil sliding so he wen lower to make sure he made contact with Keils upper body. Kid purposely hit Kiel high there

Seriously? You can't hit high anymore, so now when a player initiates a last second slide a defensive player is just supposed to magically stop all momentum?

Are you serious? The DB clearly adjust to make sure he smoked Keil in the upper body/ head area. He wasn't diving at Keils legs and then Keil all of a sudden Keil slid into the hit. The kid loads up and drives Keil hard after the slid to rock him. Hell, he gets up celebrating his hit. I'm not saying the kid is a thug or anything but he absolutely purposely hit Keil high and hard

He went low to make sure he didn't hit Kiel's head, then Kiel started sliding and came down
