It's pretty interesting Rivers and Leonard both live in Fairhope, AL

Thought rivers still lived in san diego?

But fairhope is a fine place to live

Nah, he's been coaching his son at a new Catholic school in Fairhope the past couple of years. St. Michael's...they were ranked #1 before falling to Jackson in the playoffs

Rivers is starting tomorrow. 5 days after his workout, after 4 years of not throwing a football

I refuse to believe any other possibility than the dipshit in the headset remembered him from a few years back and told the FO to sign him. I refuse to believe anyone in that organization actually wanted this or felt that it was in their top 100 options in play

This franchise will be back in the AFC South cellar shortly

It is one of the strangest events in recent NFL history. I hope the Seattle fans give him a cheer when he first comes out.

Yep. The speed of the game for him is going to be brutal. Hope he doesn’t get hurt.

He coaches HS football. He obviously has been throwing, this is a ridiculous statement.

But it’s still insane

This is one of the most bizarre things I have seen in sports. It’s hard to imagine him being prepared to play well at his age under these circumstances, but I hope he does well.

He can’t do much worse than Dan Marino against the Cowboys in his final season.

15/36, 178 yards, 0 TD, 5 INT (one pick six).

Dang, I didn't remember this.

I do remember Aikman throwing 4 interceptions in a game late in his career.

Peyton Manning had some terrible games his last season.
