Either one i a good argument but Cam accounted for 51 total TDs..crazy (IDK what VY's stat line for 05 was but i dont think it was that high, could have been though)

Doesn't matter. His performance when it counted the most was UNREAL. Cam in THE GAME last year was mediocre at best.

Thats a STRETCH. Dion was/is the BEST cover corner EVER. and the BEST PUNT returner EVER. But not the best athlete by a long shot. The DUDE refused to tackle anyone. SORRY in MY book. IF YOU CAN'T TAKE A HIT, GET OFF THE LIST.

I know. But Cam brought what was an 8 win team AT BEST to the NC. That Florida and Texas team was riddled with NFL player and amazing athletes. Not saying VY and Tebow didnt mean anything cause they were obviously the driving forces on each team but you have to take that into account.

OK lets look at it this way. DID Cam do what VY did in THE GAME that mattered most?? AU'S D won the NC game more than ANYTHING CAM did. In 2005 VY WAS THE shite!!!!!!!!!!!!! Getting there is ONE thing PERFORMING at YOUR BEST IS another.
Posted on 9/29/11 at 7:25 pm to RaginTiger92
60% completion percentage. 330 total yards 2 tds...i mean yeah its not AMAZING but its really good. Cam had just spoiled us with 500 yd 4 td games all season. The fact that he did make plays when it mattered in the 4th quarter should say something. I'm by no means taking away what VY di that was probably one of the greatest performances in a game of that magnitude ever. But that Texas team was probably a national title contender with or without him, just from ALL the talent they had. Lets face it, besides Cam, Failey, and Dwyer later in the season Auburn was a mediocre team
Posted on 9/29/11 at 7:28 pm to RaginTiger92
Yeah that 2005 Texas team had serious talent on D...they didn't stop USC (who could) but they fought, kept them in it and gave VY a chance at the end.
Cam carried that team and faced better defense.
Look what he did to Bama. Bama D > USC 2005 D.

I don't think so. DID 2005 Texas have more overall talent?? MAYBE. LOOK I think Cam was special. BUT what VY did for TWO years was WAY more impressive than what Cam DID. LOOK at what AU had to do to win games ALL year. I mean they outgained LSU by almost 300 yds and barely won. The most impresivegame that CAMhad was the SECCG against SC.

since they were both drafted in 08, CJ has had the better career by a rather large margin.
People forget CJ went over 1,300 yards last year. He averaged over 80 ypg his first three years.
Let's call DMC better because of 3 games into the 2011 season
