Bannister damn sure wouldn't coddle Frambers shite.

ETA: Also I believe if you combed my post history, you'd find a time I referred to Bannister as the ultimate meathead sports douche.

I'll have some rectification to do if we hire him.

Bannister would be a f'ing disaster, which is right up Bagwell's alley. Brown needs to show some backbone, if he gets canned so be it, at least he won't be perceived as the token House Boy.

I’m guessing if it was up to Dana we’d hire Walt Weiss or Eric Young from the Braves staff

Was this really said? Or did a redditor make it up?

With what Reggie Jackson said in one of the pre-game shows about Crane wanting an organization that is representative of the fanbase demographic-wise, I'd say Espada has a solid chance. Who knows who else they're looking at.

It annoys me seeing Evan Carter playing and contributing because his manager didn’t care about veteran intangible bullshite

What could’ve been if Diaz was allowed to play majority of the season and all of playoffs

Super Mega Co-Aces Eovaldi and Montgomery combined to give up 9ER in 10.2 innings. "Aces" just hits differently when they're not facing the Astros in Minute Maid.

The D-Backs at bats are consistently so much more selfless than the current Astros.

Their AB’s remind me of 17-21 Astros

Not really trying to shite on the current Astros as they did a okay job of not striking out.

More so DBacks will hit the ball the other way/take something off of a swing. There’s an approach to exploit what the other pitcher is willing to give to you

Definitely. Just couldn’t believe a team got into the 8th in this era of baseball without a strikeout.

No doubt especially with how much Zona I’d yesterday. Montgomery looked completely different today, think that relief appearance on Monday might have cooked him

Alex Verdugo may be on the block this off season. He fits the bill of a left handed, left fielder with solid defense and we can probably meet the Red Sox desire for starting pitching.

He's solid if unspectacular. His 3 full seasons in Boston have all been pretty similar....30-40 doubles 10-15 home runs 50-70 RBI 40-50 walks 80-90 strikeouts.

Idk. He doesn't blow me away but he's I guess a stable option.

How has the Rangers WS thread not been anchored after 4 days?

So with Dusty Baker and Maldy having fricked off, what's our motto for 2024? Does anyone else need to frick off?

Jeff Bagwell and Jim Crane have to be the leading candidates.

Jose Abreu is tough considering he shares the same initials as Jose Altuve

For now, I’m just going with the preemptive strike at:

Brad Ausmus
Joe Espada
Unknown Manager

That should cover it for now.

Popular Atlanta Braves third base coach Ron Washington is interested in Houston Astros' open manager position, @_JeremyBooth and I have learned. Washington, 71, is beloved by Braves players. As a manager, twice guided Rangers to World Series (2010 & 2011).

Its not known if the Astros have mutual interest, but Washington and Astros general manager Dana Brown were, of course, both working for Atlanta Braves at same time.
