I just don’t see this team achieving anything. The ownership has gone bad. The management has gone bad and the players are just bad.
Crane needs to bite the bullet and hire an innovative GM that can fix this franchise. It’s broken.

It's April 9, but the Astros are done. They are 100% completely mother fricking done. Finished. Over.
They haven't been good at all to start the year, and normally I give them at least 1, maybe 2 months, before I hit the panic button and give up, but that changed today. No sir DATers it's over. You don't have an embarrassment of a game like today's and recover from it. You don't. IDC if it's early that is fricking disgraceful. Absolutely pathetic all around.

I'm surprisingly apathetic toward their current level of play. My expectations were lower coming in and this is the same way they played last season. So...meh. this is who they are.

Flawed team. They’ve essentially punted on the outfield, Their idea of a 5th-place hitter is a strikeout-prone shortstop who can’t lay off a slider in the dirt in his fourth year. They’ve already worked the closer in 2 innings in 2 of the first 12 games and then couldn’t use him today because they’ve overworked him.

To be fair, Crane was a great owner up until the cheating scandal and it’s kinda been all downhill since. He has also kept his word about spending money on the team…unfortunately it’s been mostly terrible decisions on who he is paying that money to (and the people he listens to)
Look around the league… could have a way worse owner
Just wish he would wise up and hire the right people to run the team and let them do their jobs. He basically refuses to do that post Luhnow
