Stayed up and watched/listened to that abortion of a game. Had it on the phone while driving into the office at 1AM (because WTF else can you do at that time of the morning). Don't think I'm gonna make it through Astros After Dark tonight.

Oh, and frick the Rangers, and frick Off Dusty Baker. #FODB.

The game was lost however, when Maldy converted Garcia into a two-trick pony with a fastball and changeup, forgetting that it was legal to throw a curveball to a lefty.

Maldy does seem to get lost calling games sometimes, but Garcia's ERA with Maldy catching is under 3 and it's over 5 with anyone else behind the plate.

It’s all cool, guys. We’ve got Baez coming, and I can tell he’s close. I saw him in a minor league appearance on Twitter a few days ago, and it looked like he was flicking his fastball up there at about 82.

If he can avoid walking guys hitting .102 and .205, he's a better option than most of the pen we've assembled.

Worst loss of the season. No excuse to lose to this team with a 6-0/7-0 lead. Absolutely unacceptable.

As much as we hate Dusty, Click is probably just as worse IMO. What the frick does he even do? Our bullpen we know sucks, yet he keeps sitting on his arse. MAKE A MOVE DAMMIT.

Don't worry, Click is probably busy trying to trade for Joey Gallo. (But not Ian Kennedy.)

Thanks for the catch, 5. Yes, if Click waits until Saturday, he will truly be waiting too late.

Yeah, but not Kimbrel or any other Cubs reliever that would be available.

I'd take Bryant in a heartbeat.

Give him an extension for the Carlito heads out and tell Fatty Breggy to go back to Svelte Bregs and he can move to SS.

Do away with the 6 man rotation, and drop Garcia back into the pen. They had better bring in some arms, because they aren't going far with the pen as it is currently constructed.
