If Bellinger gets to second he should give him a coupon for a free massage.

The timing of the Astros exercising this option is curious to say the least

Must be getting some good feedback from the players, I would think

Thanks for getting us an actual human as a manager. That Hunchbot was impossible to deal with.

E: There is no Hinchbot, only Hunchbot.

It has been nice not having all of those Hinchisms to navigate.

Can you imagine the rest days factoring into a 60 game season?

Think about all the games our best players missed due to management the last 3 seasons, yet guys like Springer, Altuve, and Correa all missed significant time due to injury anyway.

FS1 tonight, ESPN tomorrow.

I'm still adjusting to these 8:10 games. I've been planning my evening thinking about what I need to get done before I sit down to watch the game at 7. Just noticed the 8:10 in the title.

Astros have selected RHP Andre Scrubb to the Major League roster, placing Joe Biagini on the 10-day IL with right shoulder soreness (retroactive to July 27).

Not that I'll miss Biagini but holy shite our bullpen is uhhh...yeah. Here's a list of our currently available pitchers out of the pen

Bryan Abreu (Rookie 8 games)
Brandon Bailey (Rookie 1 game)
Brandon Bielak (Rookie 1 game)
Cristian Javier (Rookie 1 game)
Enoli Paredes (Rookie 2 games)
Nivaldo Rodriguez (Rookie 0 games)
Andre Scrubb (Rookie 0 games)
Cy Sneed (Rookie 10 games)
Blake Taylor (Rookie 2 games)
Roberto Osuna

His 2012 season is one of the all-time statistical anomalies.

74.2 IP, 76 K, 48 SV, 0.60 ERA, 0.77 WHIP

fricking nuts.
