I guess I missed it but anyone who thought we were giving up Springer to get McCann was smoking some good shite
Or it was Ryno

Tell me about these prospects

Abreu is pretty good, really young. Never heard of Guzman before but the MLB prospect ranker guy said he would've been 21 in our system in his updated rankings coming out soon.

Abreu is high ceiling, throws hard with electric stuff but still needs a lot of development. I think finished at high A this year. He could become a frontline starter, dominant reliever or completely fizzle out.
I know nothing about Guzman

I'm pretty excited about it.
That's what all those years of stockpiling prospects was for. Our window is starting now and McCann improves our team and depth. In a day and age where most trades or signings is usually followed by people talking about how much of an overpay it was, I think we did alright

Adds some power and patience to the line up, good for 25 bombs but should help them. He can DH and C occasionally.
Curious what kinda team the Yankees trot out next year after this. I expected him to DH, hope this doesn't mean they will keep Billy Butler

Priorities left for this offseason for Ludlow
1) Trade for top of rotation starter
2) Sign LOOGY
3) Plan championship parade

McCann slight improvement over Castro.
How does Reddick do anything for us other than he's better than marisnick?
We still need a big veteran bat.Reddick can't play against LHP

Could've got Dex back for that kinda money. Reddick is pretty average.

He's an improvement over Rasmus or Tucker
And at $13 mil a year it really isn't a huge contract. He was horrendous after being traded to LA last season but hopefully he can get back to what he's capable of.
As mentioned, if anything atleast this is proof our front office and ownership is trying
