According to Rosenthal, Astros never made a new offer to Correa. Last one was the 5/160.
Anyways… how’s what’s left of the reliever market looking?

Well, that’s the best offer he had
His pride will cost him and save the team from almost assuredly handicapping itself
I’m going to treat it like an unanswered prayer, until Pena flops, or Correa beats us more than we beat him. LOL

Like shite. This link has all the free agents by position, who's signed and who's remaining. The remaining relievers aren't good

Is he a candidate to make the roster?
Seems like they won’t want to start his clock if history is any indication

Even with McCullers hurt I doubt it. Think opening day rotation is JV Framber Garcia Urquidy Odorizzi

What's happening with Whitley?
Posted on 3/20/22 at 3:10 pm to Dire Wolf
Forrest? Has he pitched in competition yet this Spring?
Posted on 3/20/22 at 3:12 pm to markinkaty
Can we just release Whitley?
I’m sick of hearing his name.

If he doesn't do something this year, they need to cut bait.

He hasn't pitched professionally since 2019 thanks to covid and Tommy John. He will be back during this minor league season... temper expectations, but way too early to throw in the towel.

Also, how would y'all feel if the Twins became sellers and the Astros traded for Correa? Wouldn't that be some shite.
If he's healthy he's almost certainly opting out and he only has a limited no-trade clause.

He costs the minimum as far as money and they are under no pressure to cut him from a roster standpoint. Why would you?
