it was the right call. go watch the replay. the gunner gets held running down the field and his jersey is pulled away from his body. the ref immediately throws the flag.
The announcers were just stupid.

Should this be legal (player calls for fair catch and the other guy can return it)? Hypothetically, could they line up three guys five yards in front of Hester, and have all three guys signal for a fair catch (so no one can touch them), giving Hester three blockers that are untouched until Hester catches the ball?

I didn't see the hold on Fox and at the time if I were the bears I would have flipped out. Because it came from the side where nobody was. That's what got me. But if he held then he held. Can't argue that. I just didn't see it. And that picture doesn't prove anything. That's just a guy with his hand on a man. I'd like to see the actual hold.

So a picture of #21 yanking on the Packers jersey causing the guy to bend backwards and to the side that is being pulled doesn't prove anything?
