Like LSU, Bama backups are better than most teams starters.

Oregon didn't return the experience Michigan will next year and I don't think next years Alabama team is going to be anywhere near as good as this years LSU team

"All the players gained expierence from the BCSNC game and that will be a great thing for the Oregon team. LSU is losing there top defensive player on each level: Patrick Peterson, Kelvin Sheppard, and Drake Nevis. The Oregon Speed will be too much for LSU to handle, and the offense will never be enough to score more than 17 on our fast defense."

I could go on, just saying dont set yourself up for a steep fall like OU fans did.

I am not worried about Alabama. Next year will be the most experienced Michigan team I have ever seen. We are set to have about 14 seniors starting. Not to mention you guys are about to lose a ton of starters to graduation and the NFL.

I bet you a month ban that Alabama wins.

Michigan isn't Oregon and Alabama isn't LSU

This years Oregon team was a lot less experienced then Michigan will be next year. Not a chance in hell next years Alabama team will be as good as this years LSU team.

I think Aaron Murray has a legitimate shot at getting his name into the mix if he can stay healthy. Most of the WR's Murray was throwing to this year were true Freshmen. With a full football season under their belts, and a solid spring practice, we could see some serious numbers put up. If we can knock of Bama which I am sure will be a hard thing, that could be Murray's "Heisman moment"

Correct. Oregon doesn't have 3-9 and 5-7 seasons in their recent history.

Mettenberger is going to take the 2012 Heisman by storm like Griffin III did this season. BOOK IT!

I'm surprised by how much people are just disregarding Mich in that game next year. No reason to think they won't start in the top 10 and remain right in that area the whole year.

Michigan still has talent; last 4 years rivals 2 top 10s, 20th and 21st, and top 5 for the incoming class. Should be a good game

The reason why no one is counting on Michigan is because when you stop Denard Robinson, there's nothing else Michigan can do. They don't have a great defense, and they have no running game outside of D-Rob. LSU will beat Michigan and it won't even be close.

They do have a defense and they aren't playing LSU anytime soon.

Dunno if you've heard of this guy...but he's pretty good and they'll have another year under him

I think Michigan's defense is pretty overhyped to be honest. Our lackluster offense put up 34 points on them (and should have had 14 more if Braxton didnt overthrow Posey all the time ). I know it's gotten better, but I still think they have plenty of holes on D.

Of course fans said many different things about why we should beat LSU, but any rational Duck fan was concerned about losing so much from our front 7, Cliff Harris suspended leaving us with 2 freshman corners, and replacing offensive lineman with players starting their first game vs a SEC D. Nobody was claiming we were experienced outside of DT and LaMike.

It's going to be an interesting game, but I think Depth will catch up to Michigan in the end, letting Alabama pull away.

We return like 80% of our 2 deep on defense. Depth isn't an issue

Hasn't Bama finished 1st, 3rd, 1st, and possibly 1st again over that same time period.

As far as the game, I'd pick Bama. I'm honestly not sure who all will return, but I can't see Denard having a great time with that defense. Michigan will need a very good game defensively to have a shot.
